Friends of the Tecumseh Library to host Murder Mystery Dinner as fundraiser

BandThe Friends of the Tecumseh Library invite the community to a unique Murder Mystery Dinner fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, at the library, 114 N. Broadway.

The play is titled “The Demise of the Down Home Dealers” and centers around a country western band.

It features a cast of many well-known members of the community, including State Rep. Josh Cockroft, local veterinarian Dr. Bob Evans, library assistant Cyndi Seeley, Shawnee Little Theater member Tami Lawson, dance instructor Kristina Clagg, Tecumseh Friends of the Library vice president Jane Fleming, Don Warden, Randy Gilbert, Misty Smith, B.J. Trousdale, Eric Henson and Jack Hays.

Tickets are $30 and include a dinner of brisket, chicken, potato salad, beans and homemade desserts as well as the chance to see the play.

Funds will be used to sponsor Summer Reading Programming and other great library offerings throughout the year at the Tecumseh Public Library.

Tickets are available at either the library or the Tecumseh Tag Agency, 514 N. Broadway.
