Online Summer Reading Program Sneak Peek

With the annual Summer Reading Program steadily approaching, some of you might have considered participating online. We would love to have you join us online! Your passion and participation are what truly make the program so fantastic.

This year, we're incorporating something that is new to the program: virtual badges. These badges will be awarded to online participants who successfully reach each level. To the left, you can see the "Bookworm" badge as a sneak peek. This will be the badge for the first level. Stay tuned for the unveiling of the other badges.

Alpha Testers Wanted

Katniss volunteering Do you like using the library's online services? Better yet, do you find the library's online services a bit cumbersome to navigate and wish you could help us make them better?

Your hometown virtual library is in the initial stages of redesigning your virtual library experience and are wanting 10 library card holders to help us with the process. The 10 Alpha Testers will be with us (virtually) through out the development process.

They will help:

  • In the selecting the look of the library website;
  • In refining the words used to direct library users online;
  • Prioritize enhancements and future features;
