Happy New Year from all of us at the Pioneer Library System! We hope 2013 is a good year for you filled with books and information.

Winter Read

top ten booksYou can participate in our winter reading program, Winter Read, until the end of February.

The PLS Winter Read doesn't require you to come to any special events. Just visit www.justsoyouknow.us/winterread and register to start tracking what books you're reading this winter.

PRIZES! Register and log your books to be entered in a drawing for a Winter Read gift basket of fun items given out at the end of each month.

Moore Public Library

Jan. 22 @ 6:30 p.m. - Teen Spa Day: Does winter have you chapped? Come and fancy yourself up with some DIY products like a sugar body scrub. Everyone will leave with shining skin and some products to use at home. All supplies included. Register at the library, by calling 793-4349, or online.


Norman Public Library

Jan. 22 & 29 @ 6:30 - 8 p.m. - Tuesday Tutors: University of Oklahoma students work one-on-one with students to provide assistance with any school subject or assignment. Tutors are open first-come, first-served. No registration required.


SOKC Public Library

Literary Facebook - What would your favorite character say if they had a Facebook page? Stop by the SOKC Teen Department and update your character's status. The display runs through the month of January and is open to anyone with a favorite book!
