Saturday May 7, 2011 is Comic Book Day!

Come into any of our hometown libraries and receive a free comic book. All you have to do is check out a book from the Teen collection on Saturday May 7 and you will get to choose a free comic. There is a limited supply of comics, so get here early to get one.

Comics are provided by Speeding Bullet Comics, Atomik Pop, Wizards Games, and Bibliotech Books and Comics. These stores will also be giving away comic books on May 7th.

Sequoyah Book Award Winner

The winner of both the Intermediate and High School Sequoyah Book Awards for 2011 is:
