There is still time for you to travel the world with the "You Are Here" Summer Reading Challenge. Visit your hometown library in July to participate in learning the nationality of your clothes, eating international cuisine, and winning prizes.

flip cameraSign up for the "You Are Here" Teen Summer Reading Challenge at your library or online and receive a free string backpack and the chance to win valuable prizes. Each library will award one lucky teen a HD Flip Camera which can record hours of video and is compatible with any computer. Many libraries will award additional prizes to teens who participate in Summer reading activities.

Already signed up for the Summer Reading Challenge and attended a Summer program at the library? Then fill out an online survey to rate the program. Each time you fill out the survey, you can earn another punch in your punch card and get closer to winning prizes.

Visit your hometown library for details about programs, contests, and prizes.

Kelsey Timmerman will be at each of our hometown libraries July 26 at 2 p.m. through Skype to discuss his book, Where Am I Wearing. In his book, Timmerman shares his global trek to find the factories that manufactured his clothing. Tracking a T-shirt, underwear, jeans, and flip-flops leads him from Honduras to Bangladesh to Cambodia and China. Come meet the author, hear his story, and ask questions.
