As Christmastime rolls around this season, the McLoud library is sure to be a happening place. Before Santa’s sleigh hits the town, the library will be offering free Christmas crafts to children, tweens, and teens. Additionally, the Friends of the Library will be hosting a holiday customer appreciation celebration.
Children’s Christmas craft time will be offered Wednesday, December 9, at 3:30 p.m. Children ages 5 to 12 can make fun and easy crafts to help celebrate the holiday season in the Milburn Room. Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.
Teen Christmas craft time will take place the following day, Thursday, December 10, at 3:30 p.m., also in the Milburn Room. This event is meant for teens aged 13-18 to rejoice in Christmas with crafts. No registration is required.
The Friends of the Library will celebrate the holiday customer appreciation party with adult customers on Friday, December 11, at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be served in the Milburn Room; no registration is required.
