Happy feet, wiggly toes, and moving to the groove…lots of rhythm and lots of steps will be taking place at Moore Library, located at 225 South Howard Street in Moore, in three great dance programs scheduled as part of the Summer Reading Program, themed “Be Creative @ your library!”. If your feet just cannot be still, join us and see what type of dancing is for you.
First on the agenda, Thursday June 25 at 2:00 p.m., is Tippi Toes Dance. A unique and creative program for children age seven and under: Enjoy an enchanted Storytime and dance with a magnificent Princess. Stories, Princes, and Princesses are the focus, with dress up in princess and princely attire optional for children attending. A fairyland event for children who love mystical lands, imagination, and magical stories. Free Tickets for the event are available at the Children’s Services Desk.
On Thursday, July 9 at 2:00 p.m., Diana Rodgers Celtic Dancers take the stage with traditional and modern dances of the Emerald Isle! Oh, lads and lassies, bring the whole family to this event and learn Irish steps after a rousing, delightful performance by Diana Rodgers’ students. Free Tickets available at the Children’s Services Desk for this event.
Tuesday, July 28 at 2:00 p.m., it is Zumba Dance Party for children ages 8-12. Ariba! Ariba! Learn to move to the Latin groove and dance with Latin flair. A little rumba, a little tango, a little salsa, and a little conga: have fun learning some Latin Dance basics. Free Tickets available at the Children’s Services Desk.
