YourTutor logoTeens needing assistance with academic subjects can get the help they need with the YourTutor Program at the Moore Public Library.  The library, located at 225 S. Howard in Moore, in partnership with Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College, will be providing free tutoring for students grades 7 thru 12 beginning on Tuesday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m.

The YourTutor sessions will be available during the scheduled public school season, and will be held on Tuesday evenings, except for holidays and scheduled school vacations.  Each session will last approximately two hours and most school subjects are available for individual tutoring assistance.

“YourTutor is designed to make it easy for teens to get the help they need, when they need it,” says Shannon Harris, Librarian and Volunteer Coordinator for Moore Library.  No registration or sign up is required.  Students simply check in at the Information Services desk in the library to be paired with a tutor for one-on-one assistance in the areas of study that they need the most.

The program is coordinated by Dustin Jones and Brian Biswell from Hillsdale Freewill Baptist College and Shannon Harris, Librarian for Moore Public Library.  The Moore Public Library is part of the Pioneer Library System.  For information on the YourTutor Program, or any other library event, please call 793-4349, or visit the Moore calendar of events.
