new moon book jacket with red and white tulipIt is Twilight, and the focus is on change.  What is possible in the realms of good and evil, human and non-human, and, of course, romance?  So at twilight, under the light of a new moon, on Friday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. the staff of the Moore Public Library is hosting a celebration of the premiere of the newest vampire-romance movie, based on the second book New Moon in the book series Twilight by Stephanie Meyers.

“The Twilight books have reached national acclaim and popularity, and we are thrilled to offer a night focused on the vast themes of these books:  life and death and eternal love.   Vampires are always a special fascination!  A great night of fun activities are in store for fans of all ages that can’t get enough of Stephanie Meyers”, says Leanne Cheek, Teen Librarian at the Moore Public Library.

A great party, Invitation to Volterra, is on tap with events and personalities highlighted in the books as a special focus. Refreshments, door prizes, and give-a-ways will be featured.  Also, you can have your photo taken with the “characters” of the movie:  Edward, Jacob, and Bella!

If you love the books, cannot wait to see the movie, or maybe you just love vampires, then come celebrate this unique, fantasy-filled evening.  No pre-registration is required.  For more information, visit the library’s Information Services Desk or call 793-4349.
