Pioneer Library System - Press Releases

This November, library patrons brought cans, bags, and boxes of non-perishable food items to their hometown Pioneer Library. which were donated to various organizations, such as Blanchard Lion Cubs, Salvation Army of Norman, Shawnee Rescue Mission, and many others. For every item donated, Pioneer Library System removed $1 off of the existing library fines on patrons' accounts.

This year, the entire Pioneer Library System gathered approximately 3.3 tons of un-opened food items from charitable patrons.
