pumpkin with ghost and boo painted on Shawnee teens (ages 13 through 18) and ‘tweens’ (ages 10 through 12) can jump into Halloween by painting pumpkins to make their own jack-o-lanterns at the Shawnee Public Library, 101 N. Philadelphia this month.
 
‘Tweens’ will gather Friday, October 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. Supplies are provided so space is limited to those who register by dropping by the library information desk or by calling 275-6353.
 
Teens paint their pumpkins Tuesday, October 13, 6 to 8 p.m. Registration is required.
