under construction signThe Tecumseh Public Library will be closed Monday, January 18th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and will also be closed on January 19 and 20 for a remodeling project. A new circulation desk with improved handicapped accessibility, and new bookcases and storage cabinets are part of the project. The new furnishings were paid for by the City of Tecumseh, the Friends of the Tecumseh Library, and a $5000 grant from the Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative.

Branch manager Susan Goldsberry says "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Those customers needing library materials or internet access may visit Shawnee and McLoud, our other branches in Pottawatomie County. We are excited about the new furniture and invite everyone to come by and check it out!"
